Yeah~! That’s sounds pretty cool. I want to do everything so i’m not sure where to beef up my portfolio. I’ve been make more environments and working on my perspective so I can apply to more background painting jobs like that.
But I’d also like to do work for video games- possibly cute app games or something online like wizard 101 or skylanders. A job were I get to brainstorm and draw new enemies, shops, armor and items all day. That would be awesome too. =w=
strange-loris said: My only suggestion is that normally you’d only include 8-12 pieces of your very best work in a portfolio. You have a lot of work up- I realize you want to include different types of art, so maybe narrow it down to 10 in each section.
Yeah, I’ll try cutting back. xD I’ve got a few that could be pieced together since they’re of the same character. And I’ll kick out some older ones, thanks!
((sorry I deleted the posts these were from but I want to say a few things >w>;; )):
user who suggested I check out the character design group on DA:
Thanks for the info! I’ll try out some of the shapes~
user who mentioned Figure drawings might be more for fine art portfolios:
My school told us companies enjoy seeing a few life drawings. Maybe they meant it more for animators? I’ll keep a few up just to be safe~
I did have red hair once….
Much too cool for 7th grade.
It has some stuff from here, but it tries to be more professional. If any of you guys with portfolio experience think I should change or add something lemmy know. D;
